( www.cigrupa.hr) is developing and maintaining Big data infrastructures, developing and applying quantitative metrics (e.g. performance analytics, fan analytics, computer vision), and developing Edge computing systems. We’re offering R&D services for major football clubs (UK, DE, CH, IT, USA), groups, associations and sport analysis providers as their outsourced R&D team. Our Edge computing services target IoT, autonomous driving and industrial edge clients.

Opened positions are in the team for data engineering (full-time). Projects are related to data ingestion and processing, in the area of sports analytics, media & sponsorship, and sports data environment automatic deployment and automatic data integration.

Tasks:

  • Collecting data from a variety of traditional and non-traditional sources,
  • Storing, cleansing and integrating the data for analysis,
  • Designing, building and managing big data infrastructure,
  • Innovating and optimising current and future processes,
  • Working closely with clients and data scientists on the data use and the infrastructure design,

Candidate profile:

  • MSc degree in Information and communication technology,
  • MSc degree in Computing,
  • MSc degree in a related field.

Experience required: SQL, Python, Cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP), Git version control. Work experience is required.

Bonus experience: .NET/Java, Spark/PySpark, Cloud serverless technologies (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud), REST API development - Flask & Swagger, Terraform, Go, Docker, Kubernetes, gRPC.

Location: Zagreb, (office/home).

  • Development and maintenance of modern and advanced single-page web applications using the .NET Core framework and some of the popular frontend frameworks (Angular, React, Vue etc.),
  • Development and maintenance of dashboards in following BI reporting tools: PowerBI, Google Data Studio and DisplayR,
  • Designing, building and managing big data infrastructure using C#, SQL, Python/PySpark.
  • Innovating and optimising current and future processes,

Candidate profile:

We're offering R&D services for major football clubs (UK, DE, CH, IT, USA), groups, associations, and sport analysis providers as their outsourced R&D team for the past ten years.

The student positions are open to students with (or close to) a BSc degree, that are pursuing their MSc degree. You’ll join our Data Engineering team. Projects are related to data ingestion, data processing and support data work for the data science team, including projects for the top football clubs. We seek students that will be working with us throughout the whole year. Minimum availability needs to be 3 (work) days a week. Summer leave is not a problem, as well as the absence during the exams. We also have full-time positions available.

Tasks:

  • Creating BI dashboards (in BI tools),
  • Maintaining and testing dashboards,
